Our Savior’s Birth

Galatians 4: 4-5:

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”

As we celebrate this festive holiday season

We must remember to pay homage to God, for He’s the reason

The meaning of Christmas is to celebrate our Savior’s birth

It’s not about collecting stuff, while were on Earth

Celebrating together means more than just exchanging perishable gifts

It’s about truly understanding our blessings, before our mental reasoning shifts

Christ came into the world for the forgiveness of sin

He was born to die, where do I begin

We should meditate on our blessings and always pray

For His love, mercy, and grace, shelters us each day

In this life, we’re not promised tomorrow

For this sinful world is filled with pain and sorrow

As we close out the end of another year

Let’s remember the importance of why Christ came here
